I've always been drawn to hard problems—the kind that require understanding how things work, then applying that knowledge under pressure.
Growing up, we built everything ourselves with whatever materials we had. Need to build a barn but can't lift the I-beams? Build a crane. This “ranch-hand engineering” mentality taught me that every problem has a solution if you're willing to dig deep enough.
That same drive led me to bomb disposal in the Navy—the ultimate game of wits where someone is literally trying to kill you, and your job is to know their weapons better than they do.
Today, I build AI systems that enterprises can trust. At Capital One, I work on securing AI where getting it wrong isn't an option—just like defusing a bomb. I'm the person you want on your hardest problems.
